Candidates must meet all requirements to take the National Registry certification exam.
Online Refreshers and Continuing Education
Central Ohio EMS Training offers Online continuing education courses in accordance with the rules of the State of Ohio.
Any lab skills required as part of the continuing education must be completed onsite.
Any required skill tests may be administered onsite at COEMST Lucas facility Monday through Thursday each week, or the test may be proctored by an approved EMS instructor at your department.
This will enable providers who need refreshers to take them at their convenience instead of having to wait for a class to be set up.
In addition to refreshers, COEMST offers CPR, First Aid, ACLS and PALS using the same format.
